Key Duties and Responsibilities of the Job
Teaching Duties
- Teach Computer skills as part of a team of teachers working on an
intensive course with 25 students
- To teach basic computer skills for a maximum of 25 hours per week
- Develop course materials for computer classes Participate in regular
program evaluation and planning meetings
- To train and oversee the work of the Computer Teacher’s Assistant
Office Duties
- To oversee the maintenance of Education Office computer equipment.
- To advise and assist with purchase of computer equipment
- Responsible for assisting the BPEO staff with all of their computer
needs, updating computers, installing programs, answering questions.
- Acting as the BPEO computer technician.
Experience and Criteria Required
- All applicants must have strong computer skills.
- All applicants must have intermediate oraland written English.
- Experience teaching basic computer skills is an advantage.
- An ability to speak Burmese and or an ethnic language
- Applicants must have the initiative to work independently and also be
capable of working in a fully participatory way as part of a team.
Salary and Benefits
The salary will range from 8,000 -10,000 Baht depending on the applicant’s experience
and qualifications.
Meals during working hours will be provided at the Education Office in Chiang Mai.
Health Insurance (if the applicant has identification documents). If not arrangements
will be made for Health insurance
On the job training will be provided as required.
